    Mission

    The leadership of the North Central Service Club aims to develop civic, educational, social and cultural programs which can assist young women of color successfully make the transition from high school to success in college by performing community service and inspiring positive leadership and change. The leadership of the North Central Service Club seeks to provide opportunities to reinforce confidence, determination and maturity. When motivated and exposed to new technology and leadership experiences, the North Central Service Club leadership believes these young women of color will have the best opportunity of fulfilling their maximum potential as citizens. The North Central Service Club not only believes that these future female scholars will become leaders and productive contributors to their community, they will also be an inspiring example for younger generations to pursue excellence in the form of leadership and service opportunities within the community to the benefit of all Milwaukee, Wisconsin residents.

    Goals

    The goal of the North Central Service Club is to provide young women of color residing in Milwaukee, Wisconsin with opportunities and exposure to different resources than they might otherwise encounter. This is a comprehensive program which includes so much more than educational field trips to museums or motivational speakers from local businesses. Our program also incorporates leadership training, goal setting, self-discipline and personal responsibility as among the traits that will provide the best chance of success. The North Central Service Club believes that exposure to new educational and learning opportunities along with different experiences will enable the many young women who want to develop the skills necessary for a personally successful future and a prosperous, motivated and highly educated workforce.
